Kathryn Burke is a third generation attorney practicing in the eastern Kentucky coalfields. She was the first Family Court Judge of the Pike Circuit Court, having served for 16 months pursuant to the appointment of Governor Paul E. Patton. She has practiced in Pike County and surrounding areas. She does divorces, custody and child visitation cases, grandparent visitation, juvenile cases, personal injury, car wrecks, boundary line disputes and other general civil litigation.
She has served as a Special Justice to the Kentucky Supreme Court, served as a Bar Examiner for Kentucky and is presently serving as a member of the Social and Cultural Barriers Committee of the Governor's Task Force on the Economic Status of Women in Kentucky.
